Privacy & cookie policy
This policy explains what we measure on model.summain.com, why we measure it, and how you stay in control.

Who is responsible
Summain Oy (Business ID 3505359-1, Sinikalliontie 11, 02630 Espoo, Finland) is the controller for personal data processed on this website.
For any question about this policy or your rights, write to contact@summain.com.
What we collect
The website itself does not require an account and does not ask you for personal data. If you contact us by email, we process the details you choose to send us in order to answer you.
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 collects the pages you view, the approximate region derived from your IP address, the referring site, your device and browser type, and interactions such as clicking a call to action or playing the Model One Challenge.
Cookies and local storage
Without your consent, no analytics cookies are set and no request is made to Google. We only store your consent decision and your language choice in your browser's local storage, which is required for the site to respect your choices.
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets its own first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_<stream id>) to recognise returning visits. They expire after two years at the latest and can be cleared at any time in your browser.
Legal basis and consent
Analytics is based on your consent under the ePrivacy rules and Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. Answering your enquiries is based on our legitimate interest in serving people who contact us.
You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer. Declining has no effect on how the site works.
Analytics settings and transfers
Our Google Analytics property is configured for EU data collection, with IP anonymisation on, Google Signals off and advertising personalisation off. We do not run advertising or remarketing tags, and we do not sell or share the data.
Google Ireland Limited acts as our processor and may transfer data to the United States under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. Analytics data is retained for 14 months and then deleted automatically.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@summain.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
Changes to this policy
If we change how we process data, we update this page and, when the change affects your consent, ask for your choice again the next time you visit.
