We build Model One because we kept watching good data projects fail for the same reason: the business and the technology were never looking at the same picture.
Our story
Built from real modeling work
Model One grew out of consulting projects, not a whiteboard.
Every organization we worked with had the same artifacts: a glossary nobody maintained, architecture diagrams that were already out of date, and a production database that quietly diverged from both.
We wanted one workspace where the business concept, the data flow and the physical schema are genuinely the same model — where changing a definition is visible everywhere it matters, and where a business owner can review a design without a translator.
That idea became Model One. It is developed in Finland, deployed on Azure, and shaped continuously by the modelers who use it every day.
